Observing Maine from High Places
So I woke up on the nice day and wanted to do something with the kid's. Daddy had to work so it was just Mama and Smith Nation. So we headed for a road trip to Fork Knox & Penobscot Narrows Bridge observatory. I admit I am not big on elevators. Let alone high places. But I didn't let the kid's know I was a bit freaked out. We had a blast!
First thing you see when you get to the top and step out of the elevator. It is a bit intimidating.

This picture looks creepy. If you ever go and check out Fort Knox don't forget a flash light.
The day turned out great. We missed Daddy on this trip but I bet if we go to Bucksport again he would love to check it out with us. I am sure the kid's wouldn't mind.
