Meet Kimber
Born 12/26/07
Breed: Cocker Spaniel
We welcomed Kimber in to are home February 15th after a 2 1/2 hour drive to meet him. Yes we Smith's are crazy driving a total trip of 6 hours to meet a dog we may take home. I was out numbered in the Smith household vote for a dog 4-1 and I guess they new what was best for Mama of Smith Nation. He is such a good dog. I love him already.
He fits in very well with the family. He may not be Super Man and He may not carry a Sword lor know how to work a hammer. But he has learned to smile like my big girl.Born 12/26/07

He is a big baby and loves to be cradled
Ahh! Daddy loves him

Congrats on your new family addition! I never thought I would be a pet person. 24 hours after we adopted Maizie, I became a dog person. She is so sweet and a great running partner.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute, cute puppy! Our doggie died this last September. We got her when she was 6 and only had her for three years. I wanted her to have a good end of her life, because we got her from the pound. I knew older big dogs aren't usually adopted. She had cancer. :( We are about to move again, and hope to get a new dog once we get settled. I'm hoping for a Westie. :)
ReplyDeleteYour new puppy is adorable. I don't think I've ever seen a Cocker Spaniel with that coloring before. My grandparents had two, one golden and the other solid black. I loved the golden one, Penny (original right?). She was the sweetest. We land on the cat side of the fence with our Leo but I'm sure someday our kids may convince us of a dog.
